Improve, shorten and more

This article covers the actions that rewrite or add to your text: Improve, Shorten, Expand, Summarize, Continue and Ask.

How to run an action

1. Highlight your text.
2. Click the action on the ruler. If you don't see it, open More.
3. The result appears under the ruler.

Improve

Improve makes your text clearer and more natural. You get up to 3 versions to choose from.

Shorten

Shorten makes your text shorter.

Expand

Expand makes your text longer.

Summarize

Summarize gives you a summary of the text you selected.

Continue

Continue keeps writing from where your text stops. In a text box or editor, click Add to text to add the new part to your text.

Ask

Ask lets you type your own instruction for the selected text.

1. Highlight your text.
2. Open More and choose Ask.
3. Type what you want Bettertext to do with the text.
